செம்மொழியாம் தமிழின் இலக்கண மரபை எதிர்காலச் சந்ததியினருக்குக் கடத்துவது நம் நிறுவனத்தின் தலையாய பணிகளுள் ஒன்றாகும். ஆறுமுக நாவலர் அவர்கள் இயற்றிய இலக்கணச் சுருக்கம், தமிழ் இலக்கணத்தை எழுத்து, சொல், தொடர்மொழி என மூன்று அதிகாரங்களாக, மாணவர் எளிதில் கற்கும் வண்ணம் தெளிவாகத் தொகுத்தளித்த செம்மையான கல்விக் கருவூலமாகும்.

Carrying the grammatical heritage of Tamil — one of the world's classical languages — to future generations is among the foremost responsibilities of our Institute. Ārumuka Nāvalar's Ilakkaṇac Curukkam is a model pedagogical work that distils Tamil grammar into three adhikāram — eḻuttu (orthography), col (morphology), and toṭarmoḻi (syntax) — in a form students can grasp with ease.
Rooted in the fivefold Tamil grammatical tradition of eḻuttu, col, poruḷ, yāppu, and aṇi, the text teaches through sūtra, gloss, example, and question-and-answer — a method whose value endures in our schools and colleges to this day.
It is a matter of pride to present this foundational text in a faithful digital edition — with search, question-and-answer practice, and a bilingual interface — making it freely available to Tamil learners and scholars across the world.
